Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN) released an operational update on its acreage in the Niobrara Shale. The company has 40,800 net acres in Goshen County in Southeastern Wyoming.
Samson Oil & Gas Limited is attempting to develop the oil producing zones of the Niobrara Shale in the Denver-Julesburg Basin.
In 2006, the company drilled the London Flats well, a non-commercial well to the Niobrara Shale. Samson Oil & Gas Limited said that the company would soon re enter the well and attempt to complete it with newly developed hydraulic fracturing techniques.
