EOG Resources (EOG) issued an update on its oil and gas operations in Colorado, where the company is developing the Niobrara Shale.
EOG Resources reported the results of three recent wells drilled into the Niobrara formation.
Fox Creek 3-35H – 553 barrels of oil per day
Jersey 12-25H – 404 barrels of oil per day
Bessie 9-11H – 432 barrels of oil per day
EOG Resources is focusing its development efforts on the Hereford Ranch Field in Weld County where the company has 80,000 net acres. The company is operating three rigs here, and plans to test the other 140,000 net acres under lease later in 2011.
EOG Resources plans to drill 40 wells in 2011 and reported current production of 4,000 barrels of oil per day from the Niobrara Shale.
