Crimson Exploration (CXPO) has 10,000 net acres of leasehold located in Weld and Adams Counties, Colorado, that the company believes is prospective for the Niobrara Shale.
Crimson Exploration plans to drill the company’s first horizontal well into the Niobrara Shale before 9/30/2011. The company estimates that it has 21 gross drilling locations on its acreage.
