QEP Resources (QEP) updated investors on its development activities in the Rocky Mountain area where the company is developing the Niobrara Shale in Wyoming. The company has 154,600 net acres under lease here.
QEP Resources recently completed the Borie 16-4H well, the company’s first Niobrara Shale well. The company determined that the well was uneconomic and it has been plugged and abandoned.
